Workday Test Manager

The Workday Test Manager will oversee all testing activities for our Workday implementation and subsequent updates. This role is critical for ensuring the quality, functionality, and integrity of the system by leading test planning, execution, and defect management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the comprehensive testing strategy for the entire Workday ecosystem.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the testing team to ensure all project milestones are met.
  • Plan and manage all phases of testing, including unit, system, integration, parallel, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Define and document test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure full coverage of business requirements.
  • Oversee the execution of test cycles, monitor progress, and manage the defect resolution process.
  • Provide regular status reports on testing progress, risks, and issues to project leadership.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing testing for large-scale ERP or SaaS implementations, with a strong preference for Workday.
  • Deep understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with functional and technical teams to ensure system quality.
