Workday HCM / Payroll Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled HRIS Lead to manage our human resources information systems. This key role involves managing the complete employee data lifecycle, handling integrations with third-party HR providers, and generating critical HR reports. The ideal candidate will ensure regulatory compliance and possess strong proficiency in various HR software.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of our HR Information Systems.
- Manage all employee data (active and retired) and supervise system integrations with external partners.
- Collect and prepare data for essential reports, such as EEO-1 reporting.
- Lead audit and compliance support for all HR-related functions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processing workflows.
- Create various ad-hoc reports, including turnover rates, hiring costs, and benefits analysis.
- Collaborate with the IT department to perform regular system tests and manage HRIS upgrades.
- Ensure strict adherence to all applicable data protection regulations.
- Identify and establish new system integrations with external vendors as required.
- Analyze HR data to provide strategic recommendations that support business objectives.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HRIS Lead, with practical knowledge of Workday HCM modules (Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Performance, Recruiting, Learning).
- Direct experience with Workday or other major HRIS/ERP systems is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and IRS regulations, especially concerning health, welfare, and retirement plans.
- Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations.
- Experience with payroll systems, particularly ADP.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Workday HCM module certification is an advantage.
- Experience with ServiceNow is considered a plus.
